A few words about the Patinas Lighting factory… where are our luxury lamps born?
Our production department is marked with duality, just like our products: this is the place where the historical expertise and the traditional manufacturing meets the modern era standards.
We are proud to say, that in our manufacturing unit, we not only produce, but this is where our new ideas emerge, where the plans are made and the lamp prototypes are born. This is where theory turns into practice, where raw material becomes the jewel of your home.
How to buy?
Our lamps are produced by our craftsmen in our manufacture unit close to Budapest in Felsőpakony. Our craftsmen need currently cca. 6 -8 weeks for the production. During this period we will gladly update you on the production with photos. The lamp is packed eco-friendly and safely to be delivered to you. Big lamps are semi-assembled and the diffusors (glass shades, fabric shades or glass hangings) are packed separately within the box. We issue a 10-year guarantee for all Patinas lamps.

You can choose from more than 700 unique handmade lamps on our website. Our exclusive products represent the highest quality available, giving your room a special “gemstone” that lasts a lifetime.
Our premium quality lamps are made individually according to your requests. That is why there is no possibility for direct purchase on our website – as we want all the parameters of the selected product to be completely tailored to your needs.
If you have found the perfect lamp, request a quote! However, if you would like, after your request our colleagues are at your disposal to dream the jewelry of your room together. The purchase – and the start of the production process – is always done after the details have been agreed.
Colours of your lamp
Our lamps are available in five finishes: antique, shiny brass, matt brass, shiny nickel and matt nickel.
Antique: is a result of a chemical treatment.
Shiny brass: the lamp is polished. As the Patinas polished brass lamps are not varnished they will slightly darken in years (this depends on the humidity of the space – cca 5-10 years).
Matt brass: elegant golden colour.
Shiny nickel: the brass lamp is nickeled. Dust or fingerprints should be removed with a dry,soft cloth.
Matt nickel: refined low-key silver colour.
Warranty
You can be sure that you make the right decision when you choose a Patinas lamp! Due to the usage of the best materials (pure brass, German porcelain sockets, double-isolated cables) and accurate production, we issue for each and every one of our products a ten-year guarantee.
If the metal is not varnished it will change with time (discoloration, spots) . Please do use the sent cotton gloves for installation in order to protect the surface from any spots.
Moreover, we will not let you down even after expired warranty. We know our lamps inside out, so feel free to contact us if your lamp needs fixing.
The damage can be caused only by external influences, such as a badly kicked football. The probability of technical damage is very low.
Shipping
Our products are shipped worldwide, ensuring that our customers can confidently place orders regardless of their location. We take pride in our global shipping service, providing a seamless experience for customers across the globe.
For orders within the European Union, shipping is free of charge, covering the costs of shipping, packaging, and administration. Customers outside the EU will incur a shipping fee equivalent to 10% of the total order cost, which includes shipping, packaging, and administrative expenses.
In situations where shipping costs cannot be calculated in advance, especially for remote destinations, we encourage customers to contact us at checkout for precise shipping costs.
The production time is 4-6 weeks, and only then can we start the delivery process by courier service.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination. Within the European Union, orders typically arrive within 5-7 working days from the dispatch date. For destinations outside the EU, customers can expect their orders to arrive within 8-12 working days.

Q: Can the lights be lengthened?
A: Yes, we can make the rod or the chain shorter or longer, depending on the height of the ceiling.When deciding please consider the height of the inhabitants and if the lamp is going to be suspended above a dining table.We usually customize the lamp at the height of 2,2 metres.
Q: Do you make unique designs?
A: Yes, we do. Feel free to contact us with your requirements.
Q: Can the luminaires be ordered with another glass shade as depicted in the catalogue?
A: Yes, depending on the size of the holder (6, 8, 20, 25,30 cm) you can choose from the shades on stock.
Q: How can I get a replacement glass if I break it?
A: The majority of the shades are on stock which you can buy in our showroom or via mail.
Q: Can I use the wall lights in the bathroom as well?
A:Yes, but you should put it in places where it is out of reach of water.
Q: Are Patinas lamps made only for domestic use?
A: Yes, as our lamps are decorative and not technical lamps they are primarily planned for normal use. In case you wish to use yours in alternative environment kindly share all technical information and directives of the place of implementation before order. We do not take responsibility on damage of the lamps if not used properly!
Q: What kind of light bulb can I use?
A: Our lamps have E14 and E27 sockets fit for led filament bulbs. On request we can make also US standard sockets. Some of our lamps are delivered with light sources.
Q: Are your products under guarantee?
A: Yes, we issue a guarantee of 10 years.
Q: Where can I see your products?
A: You can see our products in our showroom in the centre of Budapest, Hungary at some of the international fairs we exhibit regularly or at some public references. We can send you all required information on request.
Q: How can I order?
A: The customer has the opportunity to choose or order from the products of the store, which products are available in several colors, i.e. variations. By clicking on the selected product, the customer can view its more detailed description. If you intend to purchase, after selecting the color of the product, you place the product you want to buy into a virtual basket by pressing the “Add to basket” button. In the Cart you will find the products added to the basket during the purchase and the total amount of the invoice. Here you can check the correctness of your order, especially prices and quantities, which can be modified and corrected as required. The cart automatically calculates the total amount of the order.
If you think the quantity of products in your cart is correct, you have checked the total amount and decided that you want to buy them, simply click on the “Proceed to checkout” button. In our store you have the opportunity to make purchases without registration, so you have three options:

Q: How can I clean the lamp?
A: You must not clean our lights with any kind of detergent. The glasses may be cleaned with a washing up liquid just as common glasses. When installing the lights please use the enclosed cotton gloves.
Q: The glass shade I have bought from you has a flaw, there are small bubbles inside. I want to claim about the quality.
A: The glass shades are mouth blown, little bubbles do not lower the quality of this glassware.
