What types of lightings are available in the webshop?
How can I choose between different types of lamps (e.g. table lamps, ceiling lamps, wall lamps, etc.)?

Intended Use: Determine the lamp’s purpose. For example, a table lamp may be ideal for reading or working, while a ceiling lamp could provide general lighting for a room.

Our lamps are available in 3 different styles: modern, art deco, classic.

The majority of the products in our webshop is made of brass, some are made of iron or crystals.

How does placing and confirming an order work?

The customer has the opportunity to choose or order from the products of the store, which products are available in several colors, i.e. variations. By clicking on the selected product, the customer can view its more detailed description. If you intend to purchase, after selecting the color of  the product, you place the product you want to buy into a virtual basket by pressing the “Add to basket” button. In  the Cart you will find the products added to the basket during the purchase and the total amount of the invoice. Here you can check the correctness of your order, especially prices and quantities, which can be modified and corrected as required. The cart automatically calculates the total amount of the order.

If you think the quantity of products in your cart is correct, you have checked the total amount and decided that you want to buy them, simply click on the “Proceed to checkout” button. In our store you have the opportunity to make purchases without registration, so you have three options:

  1. whether you want to log in as an already registered customer
  2. wants to register as a new customer
  3. You may want to buy without registration

If you have previously made a purchase in our store, please enter the e-mail address and password provided during the previous registration. If you want to register as a new customer, first tick  the “Create Patinas Lighting shopping account” checkbox, then enter your purchase data, which will be stored in the system, and you only need to log in the next time you make a purchase. For purchases without registration, enter your billing and shipping address. In the next step, choose the shipping method that suits you:

Next,  you will need to choose a payment method that suits you:

  1. bank transfer – (when placing your order, we will notify you by email that your order has been placed in “pending status”, as soon as the transferred amount arrives in our bank account, your order will be activated and we will provide you with any necessary additional information by email)

If you agree with the contents of the order, click on the  “Complete order” button to send the order.

How do I add products to my cart?

What should one consider at installation of lights?

Please note that light installation boxes are needed, especially in case of wall lights and spot lights.

What kind of finishes are available?

Shiny brass (polished brass), matt brass (brushed brass), antique, shiny nickel and matt nickel. Nickel has a surcharge of 15%, antique 5%.

Antique: is a result of a chemical treatment process this light brown finish recreates the splendour of a time long past.

Shiny brass: as the lamp is polished as opposed to varnished Patinas polished brass lamps will slightly darken over the years (this depends on the humidity of the space – roughly 5-10 years).

Matt brass: an elegant golden colour, this brushed and polished brass surface offers a touch of class to any interior wall which it adorns.

Shiny nickel: the brass lamp is nickeled to give that bright clean feeling.

Matt nickel: refined low-key silver colour, the polished (shiny) nickel surface is brushed allowing for a softer more gentle look to create an understated ambience.

Can the lights be lengthened?

Yes, we can make the rod or the chain shorter or longer, depending on the height of the ceiling. When deciding please consider the height of the inhabitants and if the lamp is going to be suspended above a dining table.

Do you make unique designs?

Yes, we do. Feel free to contact us with your requirements.

Can the luminaires be ordered with another glass shade as depicted in the catalogue?

Yes, depending on the size of the holder (6, 8, 20, 25,30 cm) you can choose from the shades on stock.

How can I get a replacement glass if I break it?

The majority of the shades are on stock which you can buy in our webshop.

Can I use the wall lights in the bathroom as well?

Yes, but you should put it in places where it is out of reach of water.

Are Patinas lamps made only for domestic use?

Yes, as our lamps are decorative and not technical lamps they are primarily planned for standard use. In case you wish to use yours in alternative environment kindly share all technical information and directives of the place of implementation before order.

We do not take responsibility on damage of the lamps if not used properly.

What kind of light bulb can I use?

Our lamps have E14, E27 and GU9 sockets fit for led filament bulbs. On request we can make also US standard sockets. Some of our lamps are delivered with light sources.

How can I clean the lamp?

You must not clean our lamps with any kind of detergent. The glasses may be cleaned with a washing up liquid just as common glasses.

When installing the lights please use the enclosed cotton gloves otherwise your installer might leave finger prints which are hard to clan after some time.

How can I address a quality concern regarding the glass shade I purchased, which appears to have small bubbles inside?

The glass shades are mouth blown, little bubbles do not lower the quality of this glassware.

We ship worldwide

How much is the shipping?

Throughout the European Union it is free of charge.

To countries outside of EU we charge 10% of the total costs for shipping, packaging and admin. costs.

For remote destination where shipping costs cannot be calculated in advance, please contact us at checkout for exact shipping costs.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

The production time is 4-6 weeks, and only then can we start the delivery process by courier service.

Delivery times vary depending on the destination. Within the European Union, orders typically arrive within 5-7 working days from the dispatch date. For destinations outside the EU, customers can expect their orders to arrive within 8-12 working days.

How can I track my package?

It is not yet possible to provide specific package tracking, but we are working on making an internal parcel tracking system available as soon as possible. For the time being, we always send you emails about changes in your order status, so you can follow the status of your order at the moment.

What should I do if I received a faulty or damaged product?

What kind of guarantee do you offer for your products?

The lamps manufactured by Patinás Lamp Kft. undergo strict quality control.

Upon completion all results are documented with photos and order number. If the customer detects a defect after receiving the product, he is obliged to send the notice to patinas2patinas.hu  e-mail address.

Error reports will only be accepted for 15 business days upon receipt.

We will not be able to accept complaints after the expiry date. We are not responsible for any damage or possible discoloration of lamps stored in inappropriate place after receipt (especially in humid places or on construction sites).

Defects caused from improper storage will be corrected and returned for an additional fee. Patinás Lampa Kft. shall not be liable for damage, glass breakage or contamination resulting from unprofessional installation. It says what is not covered by the warranty,

A 10-year warranty is granted on sockets and cables within the luminaire.

We grant a 5-year warranty on the surface (finish) of the metal parts, if the lamp was purchased with top layer of varnish.

Discoloration in case of unvarnished lamps are not a subject to the warranty.

A 2 year warranty is granted for all light sources (led stripes and drivers and G9 light sources).

In case of glass breakage we guarantee the delivery the same type of glass within 10 years of purchase at the current commercial price.

How do I create an account in the webshop?

You can create a user account after you have compiled your order and added the products to your cart. After that, clicking on the “Proceed to checkout” button will take you to the checkout page. On the checkout page, you have the option to register a new account or log in to an existing account.

How do I log in to my account?

On the professional area page, you can log in to your existing account by clicking on the “LOGIN” button.

Besides that on the checkout page, you have the option to log in to your existing account.

How can I change my data or password?

On the “My account” page” you can change your shipping and billing information under the Addresses tab. Under the Account details tab, you can change your account information.

If you have forgotten your password, clicking on the “LOGIN”  button on the professional area page  will pop up a window where you can request a new password by clicking on “Lost your password? “.

At the bottom of each email there is an unsubscribe button. By clicking on this button, you can immediately unsubscribe from our newsletter.

Is there a loyalty program or point system for customers?

We haven’t implemented a loyalty system yet, and no points are awarded for purchases.

We plan to introduce some kind of loyalty system in the future, but we cannot say when.

How does the wishlist function work?

On each product page, there is an Add to wishlist button below the Add to basket button. By clicking on this, you can add the product to your wish list, which you can quickly access at any time by clicking on the heart icon in the upper right corner with one click. Products you’ve added to your wish list are remembered.

How does placing a larger order work?

In case of large volume orders, place your order in the same way as before. The ordering process will not be affected by the quantity of products ordered.

Of course, it is also possible to produce custom sizes if the dimensions specified for the products are not suitable.
